Centre reviews and appeals
Centre reviews and appeals 2021
In this document you will find information for learners, parents and carers about centre reviews and appeals for WJEC GCSE, AS and A levels and Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificates approved by Qualifications Wales for Summer 2021.
If you remain unsatisfied following an appeal to WJEC, you can ask us for an Exam Procedures Review Service (EPRS 2021) to review the appeal undertaken and determine whether it is more likely than not that WJEC has followed its own procedures properly and consistently.
The EPRS 2021 will not review whether a school or college has complied with its own policies and procedures or those set by WJEC for it to follow – this takes place at Stage 2 of the appeals process by WJEC. The EPRS 2021 will also not review the accuracy of the grading decision and will not change any grades.
You can find more information on the centre review and appeals process for summer 2021 here and information on the Exam Procedures Review Service (EPRS) 2021 here. EPRS applications should be submitted on this form.
